KOMPSAT-3 retained all the features of KOMPSAT-2 together with spatial resolution improvement to 0.7 m. Sensor is acquiring imagery in 4 spectral bands, covering around 300.000 sq km daily. The novelty is the ability to create Ortho-ready products with a resolution of 0.5 m.
Mean revisit time is about 3,5 days with the maximum off-nadir angle 30⁰.
