KOMPSAT-3A is a new, enhanced version of KOMPSAT-3. Because of spacecraft altitude reduction to 528 km (nadir), acquiring imagery with spatial resolution of 0.55 m and Ortho-ready mosaics with 0.40 m is possible. The satellite retained all technical parameters of KOMPSAT-3 and also images in 4 spectral bands – R, G, B and NIR, covering daily about 240.000 sq km.
