The GF MultiMode (GFMM) satellite was launched in July of 2020 with plans to operate for 8 years at an altitude of 530 km. Then its name was changed to SuperView-2.The very high-resolution, multi-mode satellite is capable of capturing 0.42 m PAN imagery and 1.68 m MS (8 band) imagery. With a supra-daily revist frequency this satellite is ideal for surveying and mapping, agricultural and forestry monitoring, resource management, environmental protection, and urban development projects.
