It took only a week to prepare a 3D model of a building in BIM technology based on a colored TLS point cloud (LiDAR data demo from http://www.pointcab-software.com). In addition to the building itself, the nearest ground infrastructure (sidewalks, road, fence) and the actual topography were also modeled.
The building in the IFC model covers over 400 m2, while the cubic capacity was approx. 1000 m3. Additionally, modeling of objects in the area of over 2000 m2, surrounding the building, was performed.
